What severance language actually matters in the Reality Labs paperwork?

I keep hearing different answers from HR and former teammates. Comparing notes on base pay, RSU handling, and the clauses people almost miss.

Get every answer in writing before signing. If the explanation lives only in a phone call, treat it as untrustworthy.

The cap matters more than the week count. A few people were quoting the same formula but had different caps in the fine print.

Yes. The paperwork looked consistent until I compared the cap tables side by side.

Check whether the stock language references partial acceleration or only treatment at separation. The wording is usually where they hide the distinction.

Intel had the same issue. Their verbal summary skipped the date language entirely. Read every page yourself.
