a lot of people i know are job hugging right now since the market is so intense. it feels like it's a rat race where everyone is competing for the same opportunities. am i going crazy? or are other people seeing this too..?

Not just job search. I mean sleep, paperwork, networking, family conversations, and the point where you decide whether to optimize for recovery, income, or rebuilding something new.
